Teen Update October 2021

Teen Take and Make - Bath Bombs!

May contain: egg, food, sweets, and confectionery

We have a new Take and Make ready to go for October. We will be making bath bombs! Swing by the library and get everything you need to make a bath bomb. We have two scents to choose from, vanilla or cinnamon, the molds you need, and everything else. The one thing we will not be providing is the dye. Sometimes dye reacts differently with different surfaces and we don't want to inadvertently stain a bathtub! If you want to dye your bath bomb you are more than welcome to but you will need to provide your own dye.

You can pick these up starting October 1st. No need to sign up. Available while supplies last.

Teen Book Club

Teen Book Club continues reading the An Ember in the Ashes series with book 2, A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir. We will be discussing this book on October 19th at 6pm. You are more than welcome to jump in on this series with us!

New Switch Games

Three Switch games. The first is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The second is Hades. The third is Super Bomberman.

Did you know we have an excellent collection of games for the Nintendo Switch? You can borrow these games for one week at a time! Be sure you return them or renew them before the due date because, unlike our books, games do have a late fee.

You can find all the Nintendo Switch games we have at our library by visiting our catalog and searching "Nintendo Switch." Here is a link to our catalog

Teen Tabletop

We still have two groups going strong in our D&D campaign. We will be missing our Thursday group on October 21st due to Nick needing to be away from the library on that day.

Email Nick at with any questions or to sign up for any of these programs.

Are you a teen with suggestions for library programs?

If you have any suggestions for things we can do together at the library or for take and make activities please share them with me! We would love to hear what you would like to do at the library!
