Adult Summer Reading Program

This summer we have "game boards" for our Summer Reading Program for grownups that you can pick up at the library, complete the activities in each square and try and make it to the end! Each time you reach a pink square you get a raffle ticket to enter for prizes. The program runs from June 17th until August 31st.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga will be hosted on Monday mornings at 10am. Chair Yoga features 30 minutes of yoga with a chair for support. The second 30 minutes will be light mat yoga. Hosted by the amazing Deanna Hoover. please bring your own mat and yoga block if you have one.

Coffee and Books

Join us Tuesday mornings at 11am to chat about books. Everyone will have the chance to share what they have been reading with the rest of the group. This is a great way to chat about books, share your favorites, and find some great new books. Our group is very easygoing with lots of laughter. Drop-ins welcome!

Literary Art

An art group for adults, usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We started by creating pockets and secret hiding places in old books. We continued that work and shared the art created in our books. We had beautiful collages, watercolor art, pressed flowers, and even art created by tea bag stains! We also learned how to fold books into words. We do a different activity each month, but any kind of art is welcome. This is a relaxed space with lots of jokes and talking while we share art and stories.

Shelf indulgence: Book Club

We select a new book to read each month. We make an effort to read from different genres each month. We meet in the Creswell Library and on Zoom. Contact Nick at nick@creswell-library.org or at 541-895-3053 to join!

Knitting Group

Every Saturday at 11 our local knitting expert Sandra is at the library, she can help with pretty much any knitting question you might have, or you can also just come in and hang out and work on a project!
