This year, when you complete a BINGO, you can come in and get a raffle ticket to be entered into one of our 5 drawings. Drawings will be held on 6/30, 7/15, 7/31, 8/12, and 8/30.
BOBA is Back! (Battle of the Books for Adults)
BOBA is our OBOB for Adults program. Basically, think of it as a trivia night but all the questions are from 8 books. Teams of no more than 4, will read the books and then on November 14th, we will host our trivia battle! Each question will have a specific answer from the book in plain text.
This year's book list is:
Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi
The Wedding People by Allison Espach
Project Hailmary by Andy Weir
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune
Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley
Fever Beach by Carl Hiaasen
Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin
Note: We will not be doing BOBA more than once a year. We are doing it again so soon because we had several requests to move our competition so that it wasn't happening at the same time as OBOB.
You can sign up for BOBA with this link: https://forms.gle/6UPiQzu21GjNLvQj7
Kitchen Capers is cancelled for the foreseeable future.
We love hosting and attending Kitchen Capers, but we just aren't getting enough people in for each class to make it worthwhile. We hope to try again in the future!

Well, we are bringing that back for adults! We will have some random craft supplies on hand for you to build a boat to race down our water race track!
Tech Help Office Hours - Thursday, 6/11, 1:00 - 2:00pm

Shelf Indulgence: Book Club - Monday, 6/22, at 5:00pm in-person and via Zoom
This month we are doing things a little differently. We have an author, S.K. DeMarinis coming to visit us on June 22nd at 5pm. Normally, we select a new book to read each month, and we make an effort to read from different genres. However, this month we decided to read S.K. DeMarinis newest book, The Station Master's Wife. We will have a small meeting after the author visit to chat about the book. Email nick@creswell-library.org or call him at the library at 541-895-3053 to join.

The first Monday of the month, we will have coffee and tea available for people to sit down and chat with Deanna and others from the yoga group.
Walking Group - Fridays at 9:30am
Did you know that the library has been working with OHSU for two years on a walking group study? During the study the group wasn't open to the public, but the study is done, and we can now welcome everyone at our walking group! Join a cheerful group of walkers for Friday morning strolls. Each walk is usually under an hour and over flat land. Sometimes we go a little long, but more often we go a little short. Typically, our walks start at one of three locations: the library and the surrounding neighborhoods, Tractor Supply parking lot over to and through Garden Lake Park, and Lynx Hollow Park and the beautiful paths there. Email Nick to get on the group email list and learn the location of the next walk and any weather-related or other location changes.
Knitting Group - Every Saturday at 11am
Every Saturday at 11 our local knitting expert Sandra is at the library, she can help with pretty much any knitting question you might have, or you can also just come in and hang out and work on a project!

Coffee and Books - Tuesdays at 11:00am
Join us every Tuesday morning at 11am for coffee and books at our book club. No need to stress about finding the book club book and staying on pace with everyone else. Read what you want at your own speed and share with us when you are ready. Everyone who comes talks about the books they are reading or have recently finished. No pressure to share if you just want to join us to get ideas about new books to read.
