March Craft Kit – Balloon Rocket – Pick up starting 3/1
Our craft for this month is a balloon rocket. This craft lets kids launch a balloon rocket along a guided path. Each kit comes with string, a straw, balloons, and instructions. You will need to provide your own tape.
Family Baking Update
We are going to take a break from our Family Baking program. We will likely bring the program back in the Fall but for now, we are pausing the program.
Art with Holly – Pick up starts 3/8 – Zoom meeting on 3/15

You will be able to pick up the kits starting on Tuesday, 3/8, along with a FREE BOOK! You do not need to join us for the Zoom meeting but Holly does an amazing job walking the kids through the project and teaching about art along the way. March Reads for April Book Clubs
Our Book Club for kids will meet this month on 3/2 at 4pm to discuss Murder is Bad Manners. The next book will be Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. We will chat about Ella Enchanted on 4/6/22 at 4pm. Here is a brief summary from the publisher:
“At her birth, Ella of Frell receives a foolish fairy's gift—the “gift” of obedience. Ella must obey any order, whether it's to hop on one foot for a day and a half, or to chop off her own head! But strong-willed Ella does not accept her fate...
Against a bold backdrop of princes, ogres, giants, wicked stepsisters, and fairy godmothers, Ella goes on a quest to break the curse forever.”
The Middle School Book Club will chat about Leviathan on 3/9 at 3:30pm. Our next book will be Death By Toilet Paper by Donna Gephart. We will chat about it on 4/13 at 3:30pm. Here is a bit about the book from the publisher:
“Benjamin is about to lose a whole lot more than good toilet paper. If he doesn't make tons of money fast by selling candy bars and winning contests—like the Royal-T Bathroom Tissue slogan contest—his family will get kicked out of their apartment. Even with his flair for clever slogans, will Benjamin be able to win a cash prize large enough to keep a promise he made to his dad before he died? Or will he lose everything that matters to him?”
