Kanopy, Beanstack, and more!

Kanopy

Kanopy is a video streaming service! You can access Kanopy on your computer, tablet, phone, or TV, and it is completely free to you! Each movie or show you stream will have a ticket cost, and each cardholder will have access to 25 tickets each month. The exception is the kids' section, where there are no tickets, just unlimited streaming! Download the app or click here to check out Kanopy! https://creswelllibrary.kanopy.com/

To use Kanopy, you will need the barcode number from your Creswell Library card and the PIN that was set up when you first got your card. Give us a call at 541-895-3053 if you don't remember your PIN. 

Beanstack

Beanstack is our new Reading Tracking and Challenge platform. You can log your reading, earn badges, connect with friends, and more! Beanstack will be how we run this upcoming Summer Reading Program, and other challenges throughout the year. You can access Beanstack online at https://creswell-library.beanstack.org/ or with the Beanstack Tracker app. 

Here's a Quick Guide on How to Get Started:

Sign up:

  1. To download the Beanstack app, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for Beanstack. Open the app and click ‘Find your school or library.’ Find your school and follow the login instructions. OR go to this link on the web creswell-library.beanstack.org.
  2. If you don't have an account, you will need to register by clicking "Sign Up"
  3.  Follow the prompts to create your account and add readers. (An account creator is the person who will log in and log reading for all readers attached to the account). We will ask for a First and Last name, and a username. All other fields are optional. 

Join Challenges and Log Reading: 

  1. Join Challenges - Make sure you join the challenges we are running! 
  2. Log Reading - Click "Log Reading" on the website, or the + on the app. Log your reading manually, or use the built-in timer!
  3. Earn Badges - Badges are Beanstack's way of showing you did a great job! They could be streaks, logging reading for special days, or tied to challenges! Some badges may have specific prizes connected to them (like with the Summer Reading Program).
