First Teen Newsletter!

Hello all!

Welcome to our first teen newsletter! We'll keep it brief and just let you know some of the things we've got going on for teens.

First off, we are starting a new Middle School book club. Our first book will be the 2020 Oregon Reader's Choice Award (ORCA) book Restart by Gordon Korman. We will meet to chat about the books on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm. Our first meeting will be on Send me an email at nick@creswell-library.org to sign up or if you have any questions.

We also have our high school book club that meets on the final Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. This book club is for those in high school who are ready to deal with mature themes and tough topics. We bounce from genre to genre, trying our best to read many different kinds of books. Our current book is The Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas. We also have two Teen Tabletop groups going. Currently, both groups are playing Dungeons and Dragons. This collaborative storytelling program is tons of fun and a great social escape for those feeling stuck during the pandemic.

Group 1 is on Thursday from 4-6 pm and has two open spots in it.

Group 2 is on Friday from 6-8 pm and is full.
