Adult Summer Reading

There is still time to sign up for our Adult Summer Reading Program. Sign up for adult SRP and get a free book! Grab yourself a Bingo card from the front desk at the library and start playing! Each completed Bingo will get you a prize from our (mostly) literary-themed prize table. We've got bags, mugs, books, tea, and jewelry!

New Adult Book Club August 4th at 6:00pm in-person and via Zoom

This book club is geared toward new adults (18-24), but all adults are welcome! This month we will be chatting about The Martian by Andy Wier Ostertag. Email nick@creswell-library.org or call him at the library at 541-895-3053 to join.

Boogie's Stitching Library - August 9th at 5:00pm 

We had a great first meeting in July. Come join us for a relaxing evening cross stitching and chatting. We will have patterns that can be used in the library so no need to bring your own. Of course, your own projects from home are welcome too.

Food Dehydration Basics -August 8th at 5:00pm

Learn from Master Preserver Elyse in this class on preserving food via dehydration. All skill levels are welcome to join. Bring your questions!

Literary Art: Quilling (paper curling) – August 16th at 5:30pm

An art group for adults. We started several months ago by creating pockets and secret hiding places in old books. Last month we learned how to make paper flowers. This month, one of our wonderful volunteers, Cynthia, will be teaching us the basics of quilling (paper curling). We will have all the supplies you need to complete this project. This is a relaxed space with lots of jokes and talking while we share art and stories. 

Coffee and Books - Tuesdays at 11:00am

Join us every Tuesday morning at 11am for coffee and books at our book club. No need to stress about finding the book club book and staying on pace with everyone else. Read what you want at your own speed and share with us when you are ready. Everyone who comes talks about the books they are reading or have recently finished. No pressure to share if you just want to join us to get ideas about new books to read.
