PreK Storytime   Thursdays at 10:00am

Join us for fun books, songs, and rhymes!! This storytime is intended for children in preschool, but all kids and their families are welcome to join. We shoot for about 30 minutes of fun, but sometimes we go a little long and sometimes just a tad short. Afterward, we will all do a fun craft.

Babytime   Tuesdays at 10:00am

Join us on Tuesdays for songs, fingerplays, lap bounces, scarves, egg shakers, stories, and bubbles! This storytime is 20 minutes long so we can wrap up before the littles get too squirmy.

Book Clubs

Middle-Grade Book Club

Middle Grade Book Club (ages 10-13) meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 4pm and goes for about 45 minutes. It always includes a simple activity relating to the story.

We will meet at the library on 4/7 at 4pm to chat about "I Am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up for Education and Changed the World (Young Readers Edition)".

Our next book is "Wildfire" by Breena Bard. We will talk about this graphic novel (that takes place in Oregon!) on 5/5.

Read more about this book here:

A colorful book cover titled "Wildfire" by Breena Bard, featuring two girls holding a cat, with a forest backdrop and flames.

Julianna loved her life in rural Oregon.
She loved taking care of her farm animals and being part of her local 4H club. But then the unthinkable happened...a wildfire destroyed her family’s home.
In the aftermath, her family relocated to Portland, Oregon, where Julianna hopes to put everything behind her. Believing the fire to be the result of kids playing with fireworks, she certainly isn’t interested when her parents and younger sister start getting involved in the growing climate change protests.
All she wants to do is move on, but that becomes near impossible when Carson, an old friend from her hometown who may have had a hand in starting the wildfire, is suddenly back in her life. Julianna can’t seem to catch a break, but when two new friends invite her to join their school’s conservation club, she learns that maybe she can turn her anger into something powerful.
Emotional and inspiring, Wildfire shows readers that healing from tragedy can take many forms and demonstrates what it means to take action in the face of climate change—and how that action can be different for each of us.
