Our Middle Grade Book Club is a great opportunity to dive into a good story, discuss it with friends, and participate in a fun, book-related activity! Plus, each participant gets to keep a copy of the book. Meetings last 45 minutes. If you're interested or have any questions, reach out to Lindsey at lindsey@creswell-library.org.

Each month, come play cooperative and competitive board games! This is the perfect time to bring some friends and make new ones. There will be plenty of new games to choose from, but you can always bring your favorites from home. Plus, we will have a D&D table (ages 8 and up). There is a limit to the number of kids who can do D&D, so kids who have signed up beforehand and are consistent will be reserved a spot.
4/10 at 3:30pm - LEGO Club

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! This month, we will be playing DIY STEM games that test out things like water tension, depth perception, shapes, and more!

PreK Storytime - Thursdays at 10:00am in the Creswell Library
Join us for fun books, songs, and rhymes!! This storytime is intended for children in preschool but all kids and their families are welcome to join. We shoot for about 30 minutes of fun but sometimes we go a little long and sometimes just a tad short. Afterward, we will all do a fun craft.
Babytime – Tuesdays at 10:00am in the Creswell Library
Join us on Tuesdays for songs, fingerplays, lap bounces, scarves, egg shakers, stories, and bubbles! This storytime is 20 minutes long so we can wrap up before the littlest get too squirmy.
April Reads for May Book Club

Middle-Grade Book Club
Middle Grade Book Club (ages 10-13) meets the first Tuesday of every month at 4pm and goes for about 45 minutes. It always includes a simple activity relating to the story.
We will meet at the library on 4/1 at 4pm to chat about "Mexikid: a Graphic Memoir".
Did you know some of the upcoming OBOB titles have already been announced? Our next book is an OBOB book titled "The Eyes and the Impossible" by Dave Eggers. We will talk about this book on 5/6 at 4:00pm. Here is a quick blurb about this book from the publisher.

Johannes, a free dog, lives in an urban park by the sea. His job is to be the Eyes—to see everything that happens within the park and report back to the park’s elders, three ancient Bison. His friends—a seagull, a raccoon, a squirrel, and a pelican—work with him as the Assistant Eyes, observing the humans and other animals who share the park and making sure the Equilibrium is in balance.
But changes are afoot. More humans arrive in the park. A new building, containing mysterious and hypnotic rectangles, goes up. And then there are the goats—an actual boatload of goats—who appear, along with a shocking revelation that changes Johannes’s view of the world.
Lushly illustrated with old world paintings and new artwork from Caldecott honoree Shawn Harris, this story about friendship, beauty, liberation (and running very, very fast), will make readers of all ages see the world around them in a wholly new way.
