Services

The Creswell Library is located at 64 West Oregon Avenue in charming downtown Creswell. The Creswell Library provides free services to all residents living within the Lane Library District, whose boundaries roughly match those of Creswell School District, with services available to all others for an annual fee of $50 per household.

The library system holds over 32,000 items including books, compact discs, audio books, and DVDs. Puzzles and children's activity kits are also available for checkout. 3000 to 4000 items are checked out from the library every month. In addition to these items, hundreds of people enter the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s high-speed connection, or attend one of the Library’s many events and programs.

The Library endeavors to be open regular hours whenever possible and has been able to so far, thanks in part to the commitment of volunteers and staff. There may be times, however, when it is not safe for staff to travel to the Library and no one local is available to serve you. In that case we will do our best to have a notice posted on the Library door and have a message on the Library answering machine. If you are not sure whether the Library is open, you are welcome to call us at 541-895-3053.

Our friendly and professional staff is eager to serve you. Welcome to Creswell Library!
